Flip Flop, Corduroy Pants, and Nasi Arab!

It's my only day-off for the whole week, so, Sue and I went out on the April 3rd. The plan were initially to pick up her laundry, makan2 and let her do shopping-looking for corduroy pants at Levi's, tops, and accessories.
At first, we went lunch at Pak Lim's Nasi Arab. We have ordered the one in tray for 2 persons, Sea Coconut drink for me, and bandung for her. All cost around RM 34.00++.
Cover lapar masing-masing.
Selambak nasi arab bersama separuh ekor ayam sayuran, dan paling best kari kambeng..hemmmbeekkkk~
 Overall ratings:

  • Service: 4
  • Environment: 3 (Tapi, ngape macam kopitiam..arrghhh!!!)
  • Food: 4 (sedap woo..tak sabar nak lepak al-rawsha kat KL)
  • Price: 3.5 (mmg mahal tapi ok la..nasi beriani pun mahal gak pe..)
Next, heading to ECM. Jalan2 till we find there was a fair where Bonus Link having promotion from 1-3 April. Can redeem points, or when you swipe the card on selected outlets, you can get up to 5 times the actual points. Wow! But, the thing is, I tak hade Bonus Link Card la wei.. Agak la..dah malam baru sedar boleh apply la.. Ok fine, I pun apply la card tersebut.. Bile nak gune? Nanti2 lah k.. Hahaha.. The were contests and competition. Yang sempat kitorang tengok were the drawing and Snake & Ladder games.

Banyaknye collection colour pencils budak ni. Atas meja, kiri, dan di kanan beliau. Korang hade?

Main Snake & Ladder. Baru aku tahu fungsi dadu gergasi itu.
Then masuk Levi's. Nak cari corduroy pants kunun. Aku dah cakap skang Levi's promote Curve ID. So, mmg tak hade lah corduroy idaman kalbu itu. Oh, aku nak sangat beli satu jeans Curve ID itu. Kena tunggu kurus sikit baru berbaloi.

Congested dol! Mane nak cari nasal spray time genting macam ni? Iklan jap. Actually time ni Sue nak cari tops, lastly memang tak jumpe. Ok..

Pergi ke SaSa.. Try make up, macam tak biasa kan.. Hehe..Pastu pergi Parkson, aku try make up Lancome, oh jatuh cinta. Akan beli, soon! Sue pulak sibuk mencari pants, dan time kat fitting room dia pergi buka cincin cantik lalu hilang kerana dia pun tak hengat dia buka cincin itu semasa mencuba seluar. Apa kaitan jari dan seluar? .. Dah sejam lepas tu baru teringat, haruslah hilang kan? Oh lupa pulak, aku nak cari wallet sebenarnye. Macam biasa taknak yang funky, nak yang leather, black in colour, and very minimal decorations/pockets. Jumpa Sembonia, Tapi after Discount 20% dapat dalam RM 111.00++. Oh, time cani jugaklah teringat kat SOGO KL yang terlebih banyak pilihan itu. T__T Takpe lah, balik KL kang baru cari. Lagipun elok lagi wallet ni, koyak sket je.. Pure leather tu woii.. Sayang sangat, sebab Mummy yang pilih :D

Lastly aku berjaya mendapatkan flip flop idaman di F.O.S dan corduroy murah di Lady Like. (jimat punya pasal lah).
Macam wedges sikit. Agak-agak, tu corak hape? Aku rasa macam zirafah lah. Oh, Zoo Negara sungguh!

Corduroy idaman Sue tapi tak hade saiz, maka aku merembatnya dengan gembira. Nanti Levi's dah comeback dengan corduroy, jom kita beli ye.

Pastu macam-macam lagi lah kedai kitorang masuk. Kalau nak cerita, sampai esok pun tak habis. Pastu, bukannya ada orang nak baca.

Secara tidak sengaja, kami pun lapar. Maka bergegas lah ke Sara Thai untuk dinner.

Clockwise: Bandung (Sue) & Sea Coconut (Me!); Koay Teow Tom Yam (Sue), "AKU TAK INGAT NAME SIAM HAPE TAH" (Aku punye tapi cam koay teow goreng, cume ade kacang tumbuk ngan serbuk cili sebagai tambahan.Sedap); Seafood platter

To Kelantan: My friend's Wedding!

I went to Rantau Panjang, Kelantan for a wedding of a good friend, Ana, together with Madyt and Nonie. It supposed to be 6 of us as planned at first since October last year, but other 2 girls could not make it as they were very busy with lab works and another one traveled to Kelantan with the family.

3 February 2011
Nonie, Madyt, and I met up at KL Sentral at 10am and took the KLIA Transit and stopped at Salak South Sation for a bus to the LCCT. We arrived there at abou 10.40am and weigh all the hand luggage to make sure they do not exceeding 7kg (the max weight for luggage that are allowed to bring in the cabin) and checked in.

Check in for Domestic Departures @ LCCT

We arrived Sultan Ismail Petra Airport Terminal in Pengkalan Chepa at about 2pm and took an airport taxi to Kota Bharu (KB). We went to Siti Kadijah Market, Kota Bharu Trade Center, and bought a lot of stall fried snacks like banana fritters, fishball satay, keropok lekor, and sausages.

Our first plan was Ana's brother Ucop supposed to fetch us in KB but there he caught in traffic as so many cars on the road so we decided to take a taxi to Rantau Panjang. It took about 1 hour until we finally arrived the small town and checked in the "guest room". Our Siti Rokiah-named room was so small, only a queen size mattress provided with a stand fan and toilet outside. Haha. Syida and husband were next to ours. We quickly get dressed for Ana's solemnization at Masjid Lubok Setol (about 15 minutes drive), together with Syida and husband in their Satria Neo. There were 6 of us, compressed in the car. Sorry guys, but thanks a lot for letting us get together (we have no transport ok). We went back to room at about 11pm and slept early...So damn tired!
Our room at Rantau Panjang

4 February 2011
We woke up not so early (Hehe) and have our breakfast with RM 7 kuih muih including the very famous Kuih Cara Bakar (which we have to queue up long!) and went to a kedai makan for Nasi Gulai. Ok fine, I've had rice for my breakfast LOL! We then get dressed and went to Ana's place at 11 am. I did makeups for Nonie, Madyt, and also Syida (for sure me included la kan..), but in a very express way, got no enough time la. Hehe..
Ana was so beautiful, and I really loved all her dress. We had white rice, Gulai Kawah, Acar Timun, Acar Nenas, Ayam Masak Merah, and salted fish. We also had a chance to taste on Santapan Pengantin, and that was my very first time eating Udang Panjat. Oh, heaven!
Waiting for famous Kuih Cara Bakar :d

Kebaya Songket Bunga Tabur for reception

My first ever eating Udang Panjat

The 3tier wedding cake

It was late already in the afternoon when we reached the room. We planned to go to Sungai Golok with the guest room owner's boat, since we were running out late, we only do shopping in that Rantau Panjang Duty Free Zone. I bought a comforter and a straw mat. Hehe.
Baskin Robbins Rantau Panjang version :P

My hauls: A comforter and a straw mat!

RM 72 dinner of Siakap Kengsom and Seafood Tomyam

5 February 2011
We woke up very early and Ucop fetch us to Sultan Ismail Petra Airport since we need to arrive there as early as 7am. We checked in our luggage with total weighs of 29.6 kg and we have to pay for extra RM 80 (which means RM 40 for every 15kg), but Madyt was willing to pay, Nonie and I just tumpang sekaki. Hehe :P
Our 29.6kg checked in luggage with fees of RM 80

We reached LCCT at about 10am and separate to own direction :)
Super fun and super penat, but I really need to re-charge myself and drive back to Kuantan at 3pm. I took 5 hours of driving as I really tired and so sleepy. I sleep for 30 minutes at every R&R until I safely arrived Kuantan at 8pm. Huh!

My first falsies!

Tu pun nak kecoh ke?
Ok, fine. Aku tau sume penah pakai fake lashes, tapi bukan aku (Kerispatih...haha)
Why I wanted so long to wear falsies?
actually I will have a HTAA Dinner tomorrow night at the new Zenith Hotel (situated in front of ECM). I heard so many guests are heading to find make up artists and rent dresses. Ok, I will never spent my money only for that 3 hours dinner. That's not worth it, unless if I have dinner with Mr Right. Hehe.
Counting the days, I prepared myself with various of make up techniques I searched trough youtube. I let my sister comments on my touch, ecece.. She replied, I look gorgeous (Oh!), but if I were put on fake lashes, I will look STUNNING!
So, that's why I went to Elianto just now to fine a pair of falsies. I choose the lighter and not so heavy dramatic look (though its good for a dinner) because it's my first time ok. FIRST TIME!
I bought this pair for only RM 12 and got the adhesive glue in it, for free.

The glue for free

And the best thing, the lashes look so natural and so light. I thought that so many people said falsies are heavy and you might have difficulties to make your eyes wide open. in addition, it's so easy to apply, once the glue become sticky. But, because of my original lashes all curled up, so I really have a bit problem to precisely put it on top of my lashes. Haha. I truly recommend this brand to all first user. Good luck!

Unplanned dinner~

Yesterday we both went to Kemaman, unplanned.
This afternoon, I received a SMS from my sis that she wanted to go out at 6.30pm. We did not decided where to go. I just drive around Kuantan and finally stop at ECM. Again, unplanned. Yeay.
I first wanted to survey the zip lock clear plastic bag for LAG packing while on board. So, after spent my time in the Carrefour, I couldn't find the right measurement 20cm X 20cm. Or perhaps, I have to fine somewhere out there. Anyone knows where?
Then, we began to hunger like hell. My sis really wanted to go to Laksa Shack restaurant. We had our dinner there.

The Value Meal.
T-B: Singapore Laksa, Nyonya Laksa Asam, with Bandung Cincau and Otak Otak

(the blue and white shirt are so handsome meh..but did not managed to snap the white shirt's pic. LOL)

Cheap Detoxification and the Dokoh~

I have read a lot of information on the net, books, and magazines regarding nutrition for acne treatment. As usual - no oily foods,a lot of veges and fruits and a lot of plain water... One of them suggested a detoxification program, as to cleanse the bowel and removes toxins from the body which I think it's worth a try. The main ingredients is to drink fruit juices with the pulp. Oh, I really not into fruits and juices because I find them too sweet. On of my friend introduce me Tropicana Twister juice. I've tried all three flavors - orange, apple, and blackcurrant. I preferred orange as it not as sweet as the other two. I rushed to Giant Hypermarket and bought 6 bottles of the juice. Sound greedy right? But seriously I don't have time to spend on everyday shopping for this juices.
My Tropicana Twister army!

After that, I walked to every bazaar in the market itself to look around things I might love to buy. Then I found a Dokoh, which I wanted for so long, and surprisingly, it was super cheap! I bought it for RM 50 only. Hehe.. Before this I have surveyed for the price, it was around RM 80- RM 300. Really worth buying. I am thinking of buying the gold plated one. Hehe.
A dokoh is a Malay traditional pendant necklace usually in a set of two to three pendants, or more, and worn by The Sultan/Sultanah in any traditional ceremony, as the accessories. Can be worn on Kebaya or Kurung Songket.

P/s: I really hate my roomate - she acts like shit from the pigs. Haha :))))))

Sunday blues~

I slept very late last night just to make sure that 2 movies I really want were successfully downloaded - Dinner for Shmucks and The Tree..
going to watch 'em soon, whenever I got my 2 hours non-tired mood :D
.....................
early morning I washed my clothes, and tidy up the room, of course
then getting ready for a seminar for Malaysian Nurses Union (MNU), held somewhere in HTAA itself
..............
at 4pm, my fellow friend, Shafiq Ahmad came by to "save" my dearie Encem, and now the battery was fully charged..thanks a lot friend!
after that, I got my Waja Encem washed and polished and zasss to ECM..It was The Body Shop Y.E.S!!!
(I do not know how I fell in love with the cosmetics range..tho most of people suggested high end brands such as MAC, Bobbi Brown, MUFE, Stage...they were expensive lah..), moreover, TBS cosmetics are all made from non-animal product 100% vegetarian!
these are part of my hauls which I love so much, the brushes..
they are made from synthetic material, very soft and dense, also cheap tho! (I don't really like those made from animal hair as I am allergic to 'em!). the holders are so cool, not too long or too short, big, and have curve at the middle so that easier to grip and the base all wide that they can even stand straight! Among all, I found that the eyeshadow blender brush was a bit harsh to the eyelid. this is not cool :| but others are just fine :D
TBS brush roll
my brushes army! L-R: blusher, face&body, eyeshadow blender, eyeshadow, smudger, brow&lash comb, lip/concealer

blusher: dense and super soft, but slightly thin and not so fluffy compared to kabuki.but still works well especially on creating shades!
face&body: super big, soft and fluffy..pampering my whole face with translucent powder :D
eyeshadow blender: longer tip brushes and quite dense and fluffy. pickup more eyeshadow. however, I found that the brushes a bit harsh to my lids :'(
eyeshadow: soft and thin edge, doesn't pick up many pigments, but can be used as slanted brush to line the lower waterline with some shadows for smokey look :)
smudger: it's a sponge tip!...and it smudge (full stop)
brow&lash comb: oh, I love this brush..it transforms my black thick eyebrows to a tidy look! and the lash comb was just great to divide lashes once the mascara clumps :D
lip/concealer: for now, i used it to apply lipstick. i'll try on concealer one day. but currently I don't own any! haha :))

chicken bites :)

I also bought Ais Jagung (one of my fav in Taman Gelora)

The rate I given to:
  • Service: 3
