To Kemaman, an unplanned journey!

I received a message from my sis that she wanted to go out with me in the afternoon. After get dressed, I picked her up at her hostel nearby. When she got into the car, automatically I said, "let's go to Kemaman!"
Swear to God, I have no idea where on earth the words came from. Haha. But it actually seemed to be a great day for both of us.
We first get snacks from TC's KFC drive thru' to be eaten along the way to Kemaman, which took approximately 30-40 minutes driving. We arrived Kuala Kemaman, the place where fishermen sell their catches. There were loads of varieties of seafood, freshly displayed for sale. Hehe. Yummy!
Crabs. RM 15/kg. See the two crabs, are they mating? LOL

Lobsters. RM 60/kg.

Udang Lipan. Look like praying mantis, aren't they?

Udang Ketak. So large!

T-B: Udang Susu RM 40/kg, Udang Harimau RM 45/kg.

Large Squids. RM 30/kg.

Super Large Siakap weighs 2.5 kg. RM 18/kg.

There was a seashells shop own by a local residents, opposite the fish market. See the photos below.
Varieties of Seashells crafts.

Seahorse. RM 5/pc.

My name is Mat Ikang. Good boy cat.

The journey to Kemaman won't be nice if we don't have a chance to taste the popular Sata, Otak-otak, Keropok Lekor and Pulut Panggang. But we only ordered Sata and Keropok Lekor together with coconut drinks. So expensive. Can find cheaper in Kuantan!

Sata RM 4/10 pcs. Keropok Lekor ramping RM 2/10 pcs.

We the head over Pantai Mak Nik or translated in English as D'Monica Bay. Hahahahahahahahaha. LOL. (Forgot to snap the signboard to prove). The beach was quite similar with Pantai Gelora, Kuantan, but more windy and we quite impressed with the way the waves curl. I guess this might be due to the monsoon season. In addition, the beach is also known as place where green turtles (Penyu Agar) hatch the eggs, partly in March-October. Enjoy the pics!
Really big waves. May be great for surfers.

We left Kemaman nearly the dusk and had our dinner at Sri Bagih Restaurant, Cherating. Surprisingly, there were only a few restaurants operated. Not so many choices, as compared to Kuantan and Balok.
Seri Bagih Restaurant.

Clockwise: Sea Coconut drink, Watermelon Juice, Sotong Tepung, Daging Masak Merah, Seafood Tomyam, Stir-fry Mix Vege.
